On my world, jesters are the lords of creation. They look like humans, but have no genatalia, and have large, bulbous heads with thick tentacles on them. Their skin is pure white, and often has black patches on it. At the dawn of creation, and the birth of the new races, the jesters acted like gods, despite being only marginally more powerful than an avarage human. many were wiped out in subsequent revolts, and many more have been killed over the millenia. Jesters are immortal (not invulnerable) and have had time to perfect almost every art over the millenia. This means that the six remaining jesters have near ultimate mastery over magic, and are completely impervious to magic themselves. They often get bored, and most of the anthropomorphs on my world are a result of a jester getting bored. To avoid extinction the remaining jesters hide themselves away in pocket dimansions, or impossible to reach areas. Sometimes they go into the world to see things, and to avoid boredom. This has lead to them using the 'jester' costume, to disguise their differences, and human jesters across the world have adopted this uniform. To amuse themselves they crate natural disasters, marauding monsters ect.... This is my fourth (fifth?) attempt at realism, so go easy on it.
