Mer-Demoness

This was done using Dan Cortopassi's awesome mermaid figure and Bushi's pocketwatch. I retextured the watch and did the pose from scratch. (Lots o work...but worth it.) Postrender used Flood by Flaming Pear (again). I usually don't do 'dark' types of images but Dan's mer-demoness texture pack was made available at about the same time as a friend asked for some mermaid images. Then I found the watch and decided I wanted to retexture it just for the heck of it...and after a goodly long time exploring the wonders of kerning and other font attributes (as well as text on a path) I decided, why not make a 13-hour watch to go with the mermaid? (Super BladePro was used for the finishing of the texture.) How or why I got the idea to put them together, I do not know. The end results reminds me of the part in 'Alice in Wonderland' where she's floating around in the sea of her own tears and surfs around on the White Rabbit's pocketwatch :) There is, of course, a wallpaper version of this on my homepage.
