Who am I? I'm just some crazy lady out in the High Plains of Colorado, a former military brat who has always had her head in the clouds. I used to draw a lot, but then the pressures of day to day living got in the way, and when I finally went back to it I discovered I had lost much of the skill. I'm slowly working on getting that back, and in the meantime, have found a wonderful outlet through the use of several graphics programs, mainly Poser, Photoshop, and a little dabbling in Bryce. Recently, I have begun drawing again, and working with colored pencils. I'm also playing with watercolor and acrylics, but nothing of real note just yet. Who inspires me? In the genre of Fantasy and Science fiction, Whelan, Rowena, and the Brothers Hildebrant are wonderful influences. Why do I do this? I have this need to create, in multiple medias. Art, writing, crafts, they all call to me. Creating something, be it a picture, a potholder, or a short story... keeps me... well, sane isn't the right word, but you know what I mean. Before this update, I had stated that I would like to do this for a living. Well, for the last year, I have been making an effort in starting on that path by sending my work to conventions. This has been done with help and support from the folks on the Science Fiction Fantasy Horror and Space Art Show yahoo groups list. Without them, I would not have had either the courage or know-how to make the attempt. Thanks, all of you.
