This and the other two trickster pictures were for a class assignment, illustrating a poem I wrote several years ago. The poem itself is subject to change in the future because I'm not quite happy with it. <:-) Ballpoint pen sketches for the figures, background and colouring in photoshop.
There once was a trickster of such great fame,
that all through the realms was known his name.
So proud of his trade was this rogueish knave,
he'd not deny a challenge, no matter how grave.
One night he was challenged to prove of his skill
by defeating the ghost that lived on Hob hill.
T`was said that a dangerous trickster's soul
Did upon that hill at night patrol.
This fiendish trickster of a spirit,
though many'd died trying, none yet could outwit.
So he set out to challenge this haunting old legend
and defeating the ghost he'd his title defend.
It was with this plan fully formed in his mind
he approached the spirit of mischief unkind.
