Flidais

This is a painting of the Tuatha de Danann goddess of the Forrest.  The myth claims that when she was away it took 7 women to equal her to satisfy her husband.  Forrest goddesses, like the fae themselves, are often portrayed as being very sensual and yet dangerous.  This symbolizes Nature herself and I tried to portray that in this painting of Flidais.  It is as if she is beckoning you to come play with her in the forrest, and yet there is a slight warning in her and her stag's eyes.  Well, at least that is what I was trying for.....
