My personal favorite of all my poem's so far, I wrote this during a period of my life when I was depressed. (I didn't realize it at the time, but a few years later, it surfaced) The imagery is still /very/ powerful for me.

The first in a series of stories I'm writing, about a world I invented. The main characters are the descendants of a single person with a genetic mutation. They carry double copies of the gene, which enables a person to use more of their brain. This makes them /very/ bright, which has caused some unrest in the local galactic area...
This is the new version of Kydance that I've started working on. I've got a lot of hope for this version. And it's markedly different from the old story. So let me know what you think. UPDATE: Got some more work done on it. Here it is. Let me know what you think.
My second favorite of the poems I've written, this came to me after laying up one night watching meteors, and I had it in this form in a couple hours of writing.
A fun little humorous Sci-Fi story that I wrote one day when I was bored. The title is a deliberate play on the other title of The Hobbit.
