Dragon Wing Study 2

Sci fi/Fantasy image by

Matthew Walker

My second wing study, and the better of the two I think. I don't have it mastered yet, but this one looks a lot better than the other one. The proportions are a little better, though I think the wing still needs to be a little larger in relation to the body. Re-uploaded this, after fixing the levels.

The Forgotten Lark (Poem)

My personal favorite of all my poem's so far, I wrote this during a period of my life when I was depressed. (I didn't realize it at the time, but a few years later, it surfaced) The imagery is still /very/ powerful for me.

Cosmic Dust (Poem)

I don't remember what I was thinking about when I wrote this poem, but I love the imagery. For some reason it still feels unfinished, however.

The Meaning of Power

A cross-genre story about wizards in the distant future, with a sci-fi element as well.

The Eyes of Infinity (Poem)

Similar to Cosmic Dust in style, this is another poem about the cosmos.

Kydance: The Focus (1)

The first in a series of stories I'm writing, about a world I invented. The main characters are the descendants of a single person with a genetic mutation. They carry double copies of the gene, which enables a person to use more of their brain. This makes them /very/ bright, which has caused some unrest in the local galactic area...

Kydance - New Version

This is the new version of Kydance that I've started working on. I've got a lot of hope for this version. And it's markedly different from the old story. So let me know what you think. UPDATE: Got some more work done on it. Here it is. Let me know what you think.

Tears of the Dragon (Poem)

My second favorite of the poems I've written, this came to me after laying up one night watching meteors, and I had it in this form in a couple hours of writing.

Where and back again?

A fun little humorous Sci-Fi story that I wrote one day when I was bored. The title is a deliberate play on the other title of The Hobbit.
