Elven Assassin, Redux

This one was 'one small step for pen, one grand leap for artist-me-kind'. This was the first in an experamental attempt at a new style of art, and it worked out wonderfully. Remember the old, 'Elven Assassin' pic? (it's still up in the gallery) Well, this is the redo. The elf has put on weight, worked out in the gym, got better equiment, and a little more chin. He also looks less dead with some emotion in his face. I have to say, this one was fun. The pencil was done in about an hour, the ink in a little over five, and the photoshop fixing of mistakes was completed in three hours and a few months after the piece completion. It was the first in the black-and-white style of mine, and now it's become a signature. And I'm thoroughly attached to it. Completed June 2008. Submitted November 2008. Roughly nine hours of work. Prologue: Armageddon Prophecies

This is the prologue to all three Armageddon Prophecies stories. It tells of the mythology of the world and of the God Wars, which took place after the creation of all Peoples and nearly destroyed all that was. The rest of the Prophecies will be up as soon as I finish scrapping the old version and going through serious rewriting. The mythology is currently the only part I felt good enough about to write. Also, the writing is a little difficult to follow; it works much better if you read it aloud. Critics welcome.

Faerie Rose

*Poem* The rather sad tale of a man who fell in love with a female fae for one night, only to awaken to her vanished from his side. Could be sung as a song, for that is how it originally was written. I wrote this very late one night scribbled on the back of an article about human psychology from adolescence. Strange when inspiration strikes and even stranger is the result. Critique if you so wish.
