Faceless Dancer

Crickets chirp their cadence at a nearly deafening level, and your footsteps are easily unheard because of this. It is the black of the night, near the middle of the woods of the Two Brothers. You have a couple of friends with you, 'in case you fall down and break a leg', you tell them. In truth, you're as scared as heck with regard to entering this forest at this hour of the night. In fact, you wouldn't even be here. If it weren't for /them/... You /have/ to see them. You /must/ see them... even if just one... ---------- They are but one of the many peoples of which the legends speak. Of beautiful beings that walked the earth, these legends told of faceless dancers. They were the youngest of all the peoples, and the oldest of the peoples. Dancing in darkness, these intricately plain creatures radiated light, niehter appearing joyful nor grieved. If you ever see one of these, one dark night, dancing on a puddle or on a pond, consider yourself blessed with good luck, for only the best luck would allow you to even catch a glimpse of these graceful dancers. Done with a simple graphite pencil, with simple photocopy paper.
