The colored version done in Photoshop about an hour ago (well, an hour from right now, I don't know when this picture will actually be put up, Thomas is a busy guy). For full description see the original B&W version. I love you all for even coming to this gallery in the first place. ;)

The Light-Bearer's Sorrow

This is sort of like a follow-up to The Naiad's Sorrow for Christian mythology. I did this one just for the Hel of it, not too long ago. Oh, and so as not to offend anyone who's very uptight about their beliefs, no, when I refer to Lucifer lamenting god's 'love' and god's 'kiss' I do NOT mean it in THAT way. However, you may choose to take it that way if you want. That's your choice.

I Know the Way Home

I wrote this in my LiveJournal in the middle of the night several months ago. I don't really know where it came from, but I've become rather fond of it. It's more like a vignette than a story, but whatever. I prefer vignettes I guess, because they're more in the moment and they don't move from that moment. Anyway, the quote at the beginning is what inspired it... the guy was going to be a samurai specifically in the beginning, but as I realized I didn't really know much about samurais, I decided to stay vague to avoid insulting the samurai tradition with my ignorance.

Just a Little Rain

What would it be like to be the last person alive? Random thoughts turn into a short story...think I threw enough apocalyptic things at a time in there?

The Darkest Days

Everyone has bad days. 'Nuff said.

The Naiad's Sorrow

A poem written a loooong time ago, somewhere around 1997. I think it was for a Greek mythology poetry project. It's based on the usual rip-off Naiads seem to get in myths; love, betrayal, abandonment. That sort of thing.
