This is one of the series of three paintings done for our University formal. It's 5' by 2' and looks much better from a distance, I'll admit, but then again it was meant to be viewed from below. This painting is of the two most famous gargoyles on our building. The gargoyles are representations of two men: the one on the left represents Reznikoff, while the one on the right depicts Diabolos. As the story goes, these two gargoyles were carved by Diabolos, who stole Reznikoff's girl. Reznikoff confronted Diabolos and in the struggle, Reznikoff was killed, and his body wasn't found until the great fire. Reznikoff is known to haunt the halls of our beloved building...Kudos again if you know where this is. Done in acrylics.
