Honestly, I think this one came out a lot better than my previous samurai-ko picture. The other one is starting to bother me a bit lately.... probably mostly from the kind of vague coloured pencil job and the bad scan. Enough about that one, though, this one was done in Ink drawing pens, with soft B drawing pencils for the shading. She's in something of a defensive state at the moment, dodging back out of the way of an attack, with her wakizashi and katana arranged in a defensive screen. It would probably come off better if there was a background and an attacker drawn in for viewers to gauge her movements by, but... oh well. Otherwise, I think it came out well enough.
