The Iridi: Timeless Existence Chapter 1

Humans and elves share a world, but Men do not know that. When a hybrid (sovo) is born among humans, there is a need for them to find the elves, who are called the Iridi. Life is hard for all, life is harder for them.

The Iridi: Timeless Existence Chapter 2

A long time ago, Lorr promised to include some of Narin's words when he finally wrote down a documentary of their lives. But that was when both were well and alive. His words are part of what remains.

Fate-Destined Child

This is in Narin's perspective this time. There are just so many words to describe him, as he's become a person in my mind, and no one knows what he's like yet. Just to start off: defiant, resentful, pessimistic, paranoid (to some degree)... Of course, he's not just entirely negative. Born into nobility, his father was a baron, and his mother an elven queen. She resigned her position in order to be with his father, but later her people called her back to her duty, so she upped and left. That was an early shock in his life, and he was ever resentful of the dutiful ways of the elf-kind: the people - not govt. - before the individual. Coincidentally, they had a special duty for him too, which just adds a little more to his bitter nature. PS. He does NOT have wings.

Talia: A Lovelorn Lorr's Reverie

A bit RolePlay-ish. Character perspective with Lorr, my half-elf character. This goes along with the main story for 'The Iridi'. I considered replacing interlocked with interwoven, because lace is soft and all, but people aren't, so I stuck by it. And if anyone's wondering, Narin is the 'lord'. Hmm, what else...oh, why 'so fair it was despairingly foul'? One, maybe it could burn. Two, beauty is both gift and curse. And three, maybe it's only superficial? And...'of a soul that tears and rips' is present tense because the soul continues to tear and rip (not itself tearing and ripping, btw, but an action towards other...things). As for 'to yearn....bliss', he yearns for all of the rest in the four verses, not just 'her embrace'. I think that's all the blurry stuff. Yaw. Oh, and the last two lines are...sort of suggestive don't you think? :P
