Nicole McCurry

I write an online graphic novel set in a fantasy landscape with a bit of sci-fi thrown in. I usually describe it as a romantic fantasy adventure with space ships (although there are actually very few space ships.) I like Computer games, cooking, drawing, comics and graphic novels, sex, weed (retired, but still interested) and beer. Favourite movies Rurouni Kenshin, Pom Poko, Ponyo, Twelve Kingdoms, Star Trek TOS, Hitchhiker's Guide to the Galaxy, Dr. Who (dr's 4 and 11) Favourite books Anything by Terry Pratchett, Douglas Adams, and Larry Gonick (not F/Sf, but who cares) Favourite music The Clash, Steely Dan, DMB, Led Zepplin, Bob Marley

The Cyclops' Castle

This story was inspired by watching my then one-year-old playing at the library. It was given to various family members as a christmas present, and was well recieved. The characters involved, mainly the married couple, are characters from my others works in the Ecadian Chronicles series, published through Publish America (regrettably). There are some known issues. I use the term Romans. They look and act like earth Romans. This is because I am borrowing the opinion of some channelers that most Earth culture, especially caucasian culture, originated elsewhere in the galaxy, and many different planets have similar traits. Whether or not I actually believe this, I thought it was really interesting. Secondly, I know the halfling's accent is nearly indeciferable. My husband has the same problem. I refer you to Mark Twain, and many of his novels with southern characters, and to Terry Pratchett's Wee Free Men. Just deal with it or stop reading.
