This is a tribute to my dearly departed friend. The wings my mother said were a degradation to the butterfly, but I think are the perfection of my gerbil. Not wings to fly with, but wings I can dream with. I miss her. I red-did the colouring on the original sketch, and now I absolutely love it. It's very rough and less then pristine, but it has such a beautiful softness to it. I discovered the charcol brush in corelphpt and I love it! new version *14/10/04*

Two That Were One Chapter 1

Hmm, I guess I could just put the introduction I put on the art I did for this here... Trelan was the first son of the old king, born to his first wife. Wiynar, his half brother, was born in the king's old age to his second wife, a young elf. Wiynar was doted upon, whilst Trelan was neglected and punished in his rebellious years, causing great conflict between them. When the king died he split the kingdom between his sons. Trelan he gave the northern plains, and to Wiynar he gave the southern forests, the home of his mother's people. Wiynar was only twelve, but his mother's people helped him keep his realm when Trelan descended upon him. My story picks up in the third generation, as both lines try to reconcile the country to it's previous state, and all kinds of havoc commences.

The 'they'.

A slightly strange story set in a slightly strange world where the class system is a bit... strange. I wrote this about four years ago and am currently in the prosess of re-writing it, but I thoght I'd put it up anyway so I could get feed back and use it in my re-write.
