A pretty chartreuse-haired faery examining a flower! If the Faery Queen is a queen, then Chartreuse is a Princess.I had picked up a "chartreuse" pencil crayon (aka colored pencil) the other day, which is an off-shoot of my favorite color: LIME GREEN - slightly more bright and light and closer to yellow than lime - and i've always liked the image of that colored hair. Ever since that drawing i called "Graceful" - i can't remember if i posted that here yet. I kept that drawing colorless at the time, but i always pictured her with this colored hair! And i was inspired a bit by Panoply to draw someone wider. That was my intention with Lady Squid, but she didn't turn out very wide. And i was sorta unhappy with how far apart i did the breasts on my "Rain" image ... i wanted to do small breasts on her cuz they are sexy, too, but i just made them too far apart, so i was experimenting with proportions trying to "fill the gap" so-to-speak to see how they would look if they WERE that far apart on the outside - to make them realistically closer in the middle. But i'm gonna have to do some more experimenting with small breasts again to get it right, cuz as you can see, these didn't turn out small, heh.Pretty, though! And also inspired by the great beastiary and characters and summon spirits of Tales of Symphonia, i wanted to do wings that had 3 sets (cuz you see that a few times - one or 2 of the Sylph summon spirits is what i remember most as having 3 sets of wings). I was going to make the bottom ones different in a 3rd way, but thought against it to keep continuity. Also the middle wings are sorta supposed to be similar to tribal masks, or perhaps a Deku creature from the N64 Legend of Zelda's, hehe. No real reason! But anyway, i just wanted to do a simple curve-lined drawing, i didn't want to deal with bumps and rolles and all that this time (though i love rolls, sometimes it's really difficult to do them well, and i'm drawing and erasing and re-drawing and re-erasing to re-draw ...).And i didn't feel like doing a background. Maybe one of you lovely people out there would like to make her a background! I picture her on a mushroom. But hehe, that's all right (would be kinda nice, though). I hope she is to your liking!
