It was way past midnight when strange snarling noises woke me up in the grasslands east of Moraf. Drawing my sword I rolled backwards to get on my feet. But nothing attacked me. I decieded to find out what this noise was and tiptoed into the direction it was coming from. Not far from the bushes I had chosen for my campsite, a couple of giant insects, dipviras, were standing in the moonlight. They were swaying slightly as if to some music only they could hear. From time to time, they would look up to the moon and would cry in that snarling way that had woken me up. It was only then when I realized that somehow, tonight, the moon had a giant insect shadow. I realized that I had ventured far into dipvira territory. I could just hope it wasn't too far.
Done with a brush and a pen nib. Could use some more shading, perhaps solid blacks would help, but I have yet to figure those out.
