The Chik-whaar Dragons - Peryghryin

This is the Chik-whaar series, a set of dragons that began when my sister and her friend wanted me to draw dragons based on them. That then progressed to a story and more characters and illustrations ... anyone who knows the LotR will notice the resemblence between one of the hobbit's names and this dragon's name. That would be because my cousin fell in love with Pippin on-screen in the films, and I thought of a way to fiddle with his name. Peryghryin (pronounced pair-ee-gree-in) is the entertainer. While this skill doesn't seem so important in the big scheme of things, it's essential to the Guardians way of life. He creates the moods, he makes things upbeat when things go wrong, and he always has new and different ways of doing things. Of course, he is also skilled in combat situations, and is often used as a distraction so the others may carry out their plans. His happy-go-lucky nature has attracted the rather quiet scholar, and he and Bheyth together have revolutionised the ways in which the Guardians do things.

Chained - Prequel Part 1

Finally, I hear some people cry ^^;; hehe, sorry, in a bit of an odd mood. The much-asked for prequel to Chained ... or at least part of it. It took me a while to get back into the mindset of Chained, and the fact that I was rather busy with uni didn't help a lot ... but here it is, for your enjoyment! Hope you like it as much as you liked Chained, it was fun to write it again ^^ bit nasty, but you get that. Hey, I like to 'shock my teachers' or summat along those lines ... lol. *UPDATE* Just redid the html in it and the others in the Chained 'series' so that it looks neater.

Chained

This story was written for Year 11 English studies, if I remember rightly. The first sci-fi story I've written, but I had a lot of fun with it. I like how it turns out, question is, do you? PS, I'm not a morbid person, I just get these ideas for stories and they have to go on paper ... I liked surprising/confusing my teachers! *UPDATE* Just redid the html in it and the others in the Chained 'series' so that it looks neater.
