I no longer think of my character Ludy as a vampire. I rather see her as a human being, cursed with a disease that makes her quite vampire-like, but not undead. As a result, there's a conflict between her 'family' and real vampires. I wrote a short story about how vampires killed her 'grandfather'.
This sketch is unfinished for obvious reasons. Ludy is too close to me for me to draw her naked. It would feel like raping her. But as her whole existence is closely linked to blood, it felt natural for me to pick a red pen and draw this line down her arm.
Her eyes are an accident, though. I wanted them to look really dark, and added so much pencil that I ended up killing the light in them, making them look as dead as a doll's eyes.
