Inspired a bit by Hans Christian Andersen (Thumbalina) and J.M. Barrie (Peter Pan). The painting depicts a small girl, no bigger than the tip of your thumb, who set out in a voyage across the sea. Seeing as she was too small for a normal boat, she instead uses a thimble (or as Pan calls it, a kiss) to drift across the mysterious waters. This was my very first attempt at realism in watercolors, and it came out quite good, if i may say so myself.
