There's an old Korean story (and Chinese too, I think) about two stars, a shepherd boy and a weaver girl who fell in love. But the gods were displeased because they neglected their duties to be together, so they were punished by being put on separate sides of the Milky Way, and were only allowed to see each other once a year. But because of the river that flows through the Milky Way, they could never touch, only see each other across the water, until the crow took pity on them. Together, the crows formed a bridge across the river to allow the lovers to meet every year.
I drew this as an impulsive exercise, since I haven't drawn anything much in a while, so the birds are horrible and I suspect the girl's face anatomy is off. But it was fun to draw.
