Estë Costume Design

I believe this is my favorite of my Valier portraits yet. I like her face, her simple outfit, and can even tolerate my nearly-successful rendering of outstretched hands. Behold, for I hath discovered cross-hatching! Woo! When I first set about designing clothing for Estë, I at first envisioned her modestly clothed, almost beggarlike. I view Estë as a non-flashy goddess, one who'd quietly blend into a crowd and then emerge to whomever, toss her hood back in a display of rampant shinyness, and reveal her Goddessliness, and be very benevolent-angel-of-death-slash-rest- in aspect. Then for a while, I considered giving Estë a more complex outfit - why should she be any less pretty than the rest of the Valier? - but then I thought 'Estë doesn't need pretty clothes to be beautiful!' So here's my simply-clothed rendition of Estë.
