There are geeks, and then there are Wild Geeks. Like normal geeks, they have reputations for wearing thick rimmed eyeglasses with tape in the middle, pocket protectors, and plaid jackets. However, Wild Geeks tend to be quite pale, with long arms to enable them to reach into small, deep spaces to plug things in, and short and underdeveloped legs from spending so much time in chairs in front of desks. They are generally very hard to find away from computers or other electronic devices. This particular Wild Geek is named Mack, and he was raised by computers. The wires and monitors you see in the background are part of a massive computer that he constructed when he was around three years old under the tutelage of his adoptive mother, an experimental artificial intelligence program created by another Wild Geek (perhaps an ancestor). However, he considers it to be less of a creation and more of a family. Anyway, my only regret about this picture is that I feel that the background is rather... empty. Maybe later I'll go back and put in something. I spent quite a bit of time on the wires, but they were quite fun to do. Especially the wire ties. As for the inspiration, without a question, I was inspired by my dad and I, particularly my dad, because he is the ultimate Wild Geek.
