This is a character pic done for a friend in a D&D Forgotten Realsm campaign I'm playing. Most of us just died on our last adventure however, including this guy, so I was a little extra bummed since I'd just finished this pic. But everyone who died (from this strong paladin to my fragile avariel cleric), was thankfully revived, so now this golden asimar is able to stand before you as a survivor of not only my botched attempts at sketching him, but a pretty nasty fireball as well. (Colored pencils, graphite, marker, china markers on drawing paper.) P.S. I know he's a nooch top-heavy, but I tried to extend his foremost leg to even his proportions out, -don't know how well I did.- But I always start with such a focus on the face I end up having to cram the rest of the figure intot he picture as almost an afterthought. Hope it's not too attrocious... (Sorry Soran).
