This just to show some technnique I've learned, you don't have to comment, it'll be replaced as soon as it is done. Here's the techniqe, step by step: 1: use ducktape and a board to strap up the sheet, and remember: When you deal with watercoloring, it is always best to invest in some goooood paper... or else you will hate anything that concerns watercoloring! 2: Brush some water on it so the colors will float better. Use whatever colors you want, but the light in the yellow is always nice to include for greater depth in it. 3: While the sheet is still wet, fetch some plastic foil (or whatever you call it) and cover the painting with it. Make it curly... the more curly, the more of the white lines you see on my work. 4: Now wait until it dries. You can see the water absorbing into the paper, but it's more rewarding to just make yourself a cup of tea while waiting. 5: Now pull the plastic off, and you may start finding whatever is hidden in between the lines. Dragonwings are often easy to spot! ^_^ I assume Elfwooders have a lively imagination! 6: I suggest looking at it for hours. I spend LOTS of time just looking! and then I mix the color with lots of water, so I gradually make what I see more and more visible. At this time I see 8 dragons in the colors down here. I've drawn out the heads of the black and white and red- they're all down in the right corner.. oh... there's a green one too. And of course there's the one on top, I do hope you can see that! And maybe you can see that I've vaguely started on a blue one flying in the middle? It's a fascinating technique which gives thrilling compositions! ... GAH! I talk to much... Turn off the computer and try this! Of COURSE I'll post this when I'm done! ^_^
