King Leoric

Anyone remember Athos Nightwalker? The nobleman warlock/medieval playboy? Yeah. This is his pet. While Athos calls it Experiment X002, my character calls it King Leoric. Really, it's a construct, as under D&D rules Leoric's not exactly an undead, even if he's made from the bones of several trolls, some undead horses, a few virgins, and a pair of animated saw blades. Leoric was recently promoted to the party weed-whacker when we ran into a puzzle-room full of assassin vines. He's quite proud. The little sketch in the bottom right is what my brother (who plays Athos) gave me to base Leoric off of; I included it because I'm rather fond of it, and because I think it's kind of fun to see where pictures started. Drawn in mechanical pencil and colored in Painter IX through a bizarre method of reverse shading. (I filled a second layer with color, set the layer to multiply, and then partially erased the color in order to whiten Leoric's skeleton.) I have my brother's permission to post his sketch here.
