Candle the dragon-familiar, guardian of the world's emotions. His master was a wizard by the name of Aether, but Aether was killed in a blazing wizards' duel. This left Candle to guard Aether's burden--ironically, the dragon's very namesake. The black candle to his left contains the world's emotions: forever burning brightly, it flares in times of war and great triumph; leaves a waxen residue but never lessens in intensity or mass. The lower left corner is filled with emotions, to represent the candle's contents. Done over about a week; no references, and completely in mechanical pencil--except for the writing, which was put in with Paint Shop Pro 7. August 2005.
