Zacheia White is an albino bard with a penchant for getting into trouble. My latest D&D character, she's already outperformed Death and won his ivory violin from him, in addition to a number of other wacky encounters with her partner, a cleric by the name of Lady Sera d'Foral. The pins in her hair are a Hat of Disguise (...in disguise), but this was a fairly recent purchase on her part. Without it, she impersonated a bureaucrat, a guard, a noblewoman, and an investigator, among others. Every time she introduces herself, she gives her partner another name--Flouncey, Bodace (BO-dace), Candlebra (Candle-bra), Fritter.... She also has a habit of sleeping on Lady d'Foral's countertop. Sera puts up with her, I think, partly because the cleric can't get rid of her, and partly because Zach also gave up a year of her memories to the Faerie Queen so that Sera wouldn't owe a favor. Zach was sketched in .3 mechanical pencil, but completely colored in Painter IX. I was going for a sort of watercolor, painted look to mimic natural media. For anyone with their D&D books handy, she's also sporting a bracelet of luckstones and my interpretation of some Goggles of Night. August 22nd, 2008.
