Twirlybird

Not that this looks anything like Boxelder tree seeds. Anyhoo... this may have been inspired by the phrase 'picos de luz', which means 'birdbeaks of light', and is in a song we sang in choir by Whiticare. Que abren astros como granadas, which means, I think, that open the astros like pomegranites. So I guess that means this is some kind of magical bird that flies around with a mouthful of light, waiting to go rip open a star with it in the same way one eats a pomegranite, which is, we all know, a rather messy ordeal.
