Jalo is depressed today. Jalo was also depressed yesterday. Jalo has been depressed for a few decades now. The little pink birds on his back are really happy with Jalo. As a matter of fact, little pink fuzzy birds are happy with everything. However, they’re particularly happy with Jalo. Jalo never really had a choice in the matter. As long as the little pink birds keep believing in him, he’s doomed to be a Big Scary Protection God for little fluffy pink birds. Adding to that: the birds are cute, and fuzzy and pink, even if you’re a God, what can you do against that amount of overwhelming cute- and happiness? . This drawing is one of my favorites at the moment. My brother wrote the wonderful story accompanying it, and I publish it here with his consent.
