Upon the hilltop, Tie was shuffling anxiously from foot to foot, his eyes once more, lighting upon Zee's familiar figure. Tie was shaking a little with anticipation, this was it, he was where he would attain the information which would like his road to Heaven. Home. He shifted his weight again, the tension sliding across his shoulders like electricity.
'So? Do you have The Tome of Unending Light or don't you? I've waited long enough for this . . .'
'Ok, OK, chill out Tie. I have it.' Zayde extended his hand from his side, holdind within it a small, plasic zip-disk. Tie's expression deepened to one of horror. Surely he hadn't?
'It's all there!' Zee proclaimed indignantly. 'I checked it all myself.' Tie shook his head, his jaw slack with disgust. He took the disk reluctantly, and slid it into his pocket. 'Dunno what you're gonna do with it though,' Zayde went on. 'My kind have had it for ten thousand years and not like we've been able to make any sense of the damned thing.'
'Yes well you aren't angels are you?' Tie hissed, fingering the disk in his pocket.
'Neither are you.' Zayde smirked.
'Maybe not. But I'm close enough.'
Tie turned has back and quickly made his way down the hillside. Zee smiled, and made his way off in the oposite direction.
Now on the home-strech with this sequence, should be finished soon. The inevitable thanks to Mike and Niccie, especially for trekking up Bangor Mountain with me to take these. =)
