Kaphen and griffin

**Update: last version was a bit too compressed. this one is less so** Both these creatures feature in my book, and the name Kaphen is original to my book, however, as a cat/human cross type animal, the creature itself isn't all that rare. I preferr to keep my griffins large and dark, rather than the light golden types you may expect to find anywhere else. This particular attitude was sheped by the cartoon 'The magic sword' (I think it's called that. You know, it's the one where King Arthur has Excalibur stolen: the one with the stupid two headded dragon?), which had a particularly cool looking griffin in it. The feathers aren't too accurate, but as my first 'good' griffin pic, I can't complain. Also, this pic's lost a bit of quality during a resize I had to do in paint. Sorry about that, but it's not too bad. And for those of you who can't spot the pupils of the eyes, look very closely at the front of each. The little black line IS the pupil! cheese
