This was the result of getting all nostalgic after looking at some of my old dragon pictures. This creature is a Quinticorn, a land dragon who lives in the savannah. This pregnant female is busily digging her nest, and gives us no more than a curious glance. Her scales were inspired by crocodile skin, and her bare belly has been rubbed clean of scales as they wouldn't allow her skin to stretch. She will grow the scales back after she has laid her clutch of between 20 - 30 eggs. Somewhere along the evolutionary chain, dragons figured out that plants were easier to catch than animals, so a few species gradually became omnivorous, then vegetarian, and this is the result. Their legs have become long and strong, good for running, while their little used wings have shrivelled down to bony twigs that they use to hook high branches down into their mouths.
