Lantern serpent

This one is one of my older favorites! It took many hours to complete it with HB, 2B, 4B and 6B graphite pencils - but now it's done!  XD If you want to know, this is some information about this animal:The lantern serpent lives in the oceans of Zarath down to 300 meters deep. They can be about 20 meters (57,5 foot) long, and weigh as mush as 2000 kg.They live in an uninterrupted hunt for prey, including fish, squids, marine mammals and such stuff. In the mouth, there are six glowing organs near the throat. They are used for alluring fish and other small animals to its jaws by night or down in the deeps. The serpent has also got those organs  (that sometimes even can flash) along the body  for communication with other serpents. When there are plenty of fish or bigger preys, sometimes a couple of serpents are working together. Otherwise they live alone until the mating season. The mating season takes place high up in the rivers, in most cases the Tirlos and Golnau, where the females fights to get the finest places for their offspring. The females is the one to fight over the males, because there is always a lack of males. In most cases, only a third of the world population consists males, and one male can only mate once each season. When the female finally has got a partner, she lays about 2000 eggs, big as tennis balls. Afterwards she whips the eggs down into the loose gravel. After 7 month the egg hatches, and out comes a 40 cm long “baby”. The “babies” stays in the river for three years, and grows with 15 cm every month. When they finally leave the river, they have reached a length of 6 meters, big enough to survive a hard life in the ocean. That’s it. I might write more… will see.   I might soon draw a cousin to this serpent. It will be that kind that lives in the deeps of the sea. Hmm...
