Upon a hill in the gloomy light of the lonely moon they stood. They had come to haunt our night a frightful sight for the human eye. In pack they’re moving through the fog, with venomous spears in the air. Fast legs run, sharp teeth shone, a cool wind swirled through rough hair. They waited for humans to fall asleep, urging so to fulfill their task. Tear throats open; make the blood flood warm, devastating villages on their Master’s command. Come pray with me, that they won’t find our hideaway by the glossy lake. Now sleep my brother, please don’t cry – this night I will be awakeThat was just a quick attempt of writing some poetry… ^^; This is a linoleum print I’ve made at school. I’m quite proud of it. It took about three weeks to cut it, but it was worth the effort.(All those tiny stripes on the cliff went blurred; because of that I had to scale the picture down to an acceptable size. I don’t know how to fix it, but I might figure that out later on.) Hope you like it!
