This young angel once flew with many of his kind, high in the eeries of Heaven. Then, curious, he flew down to the mortals. He fell in love with the daughter of a Duke. The Duke was enraged, as were the angels. He was caught and chained to the most barren of the mountain eeries, not high enough to see Heaven except on the brightest days, not low enough to catch a glimpse of the mortal he once loved. He languishes in misery, haunted by the wind and visions of the duke's daughter, unsure of whether to regret his love.
Done in pencil, coloured pencil and watercolour.
