Midsummer Night's Dream

Ah, Shakespeare. I like the play 'A Midsummer Night's Dream'. In it, there are four little fairies- servants of Queen Titania, I believe-that have one or two lines in the whole play. I decided to draw these neglected little sprites: from left, clockwise: Peaseblossom, Cobweb, Mote, Mustardseed (Is it 'Mote' or 'Moth'? the version I read called him 'Moth', thus the wings and antennae.) Now I know some people say these fairies are supposed to be girls, but I think origonally they were portrayed as guys- (goes into long speech) 'you see, in the days of Shakespeare, women couldn't act; so if there was a part, such as a fairy, tht could be a guy or girl part, it was easier to just make them all guys- otherwise the men would just have to dress up as girls.... and there was enough of that going on on stage already...)
