MERRY CHRISTMAS DAD!!!!Ever since my art started being good, my dad has wanted a colored picture to frame and put up in his den. For the past two months, he's wanted a colored picture of a Korat. (I love how people are beginning to like Korats. XD!!) So here is his Korat, a bladeless, red-striped tan female called Adema. (For those of you wondering, she kept her red build, hence the muscular frame. *G*) Oh, and if you're feeling sorry for the overly cute little critter she's pouncing... I doubt she'll eat it - look at that smirk! She just wants to scare the droppings out of it. ~_^I'm really pleased with how her pose came out - she's not leaping full force, nor is she walking off that rock thingy... it's a nice, light jump. Her stripes... OMFG, if you yell at me for not shading her I'll eat your soul. It took me HOURS to do those stripes. I had to go over them... and again... until the brightness factor is rather blinding. I hope it comes out in the uploaded version, 'cause it's the most outstanding part of the whole pic. (Gee, the Korat's the most outstanding part... surprise!) Anyways... her torso's a smidge too long for my tastes, but maybe a little of her tan heritage came into play, who knows? And, believe it or not, this is the first bladeless female I've drawn. Whee! Comments welcome. *G* Comments demanded. Comments rewarded with a cookie and a pet... whateverthelittlecritteris.
