These are two sand elf blades. Tuthue (too-thoo-ae), which means 'Messenger', is Tuned to Roa Cuene and belonged to his father. It is a well-balanced weapon, and more slender than most sand elf swords... the hilt design is also strange, but many of the tribe find it fitting in light of his Sandshaper talents. He swore he would not draw it until he could avenge his parents' deaths, and he kept that oath. He used his family sword to dance with, and slay, the murderer Chura (shoo-ra)... Califell's father and abductor.
The second weapon is Corayo (koh-rae-yoh), which means 'Justice'. It is Méstra Rhynifell Macillvor's blade and one of the most renowned weapons in the desert. Strangely, the forward swept blade with a heavier cutting edge is very atypical of sand elf weaponry... but the Méstra has yet to be defeated while wielding it, so none complain.
