According to the Christian Bible God created the earth, he created the plants, the animals, and man. When the world began is was perfect. There was peace. The lion would lay down with the lamb. Man was given control over every beast of land and sea, he was given the woman, and they were given the rights to eat from every tree in Eden; from every tree, except one. The Tree of the Knowledge of Good and Evil was forbidden to the man and the woman, God said to them that if they ate of its fruit they would surely die. But Satan, the deceiver, took the form of a serpent and tempted the man and the woman into consuming the fruit of The Tree of Knowledge of Good and Evil and that was the original sin. Evil entered the world, and perfection was lost, peace was lost, and man’s relationship with God was lost... for a time. In this picture I have Adam, the original man, standing on the back of a collared lion. In the lion’s mouth is a lamb and Adam is holding the lion’s leash; I mean for this to depict Adam’s responsibility for the loss of peace on earth. Around Adam’s neck is the serpent, Satan, holding the forbidden fruit in his mouth, offering it to Adam; this demonstrates the devils responsibility for Adam’s sin. I hope what I say I’m portraying is actually what you see in this image.
