Over the summer, my friend Danielle had to rush down to Florida to be with an old friend of hers from college. Her sister had just died, and she was falling to pieces. The funeral was this morning. Three nights ago, Danielle called me and told me that the woman who had died--Judy, I think--had loved dragons. And she asked me to draw a dragon in dedication to her. I drew and redrew five times before I finally made this, which I am very happy with. Danielle took a high-res copy of the file to a printing place, and had a poster made and framed for the funeral. From what I heard, her friend was very grateful. And I was happy to do it. From what Danielle has told me, Judy was a wonderful woman. RIP, Judy Hennigan. 1978-2007 This picture was also entered into the local county fair, where it won Best In Show for Division C (Computer Graphics and Creative Writing).
