Fanart for the movie Cloverfield. Don't worry. . .I don't think this is anywhere near accurate enough to spoil anything. Originally, I had a long explanation planned about this picture, about how it was discovered "five months after the Cloverfield incident", and how it was dated to be from the Middle Ages. And there was a whole section telling about how the markings along the bottom seems to foretell the destruction of New York, because they look like buildings, and nobody back then would have anything resembling those types of structures. But that was when I was under the absurdly false impression that the sketch was reasonably accurate to how the monster looks. I've been corrected a hundred times over. Apparently, I either wasn't paying anywhere near the amount of attention I should have, or I have a worse memory than I thought. A lot of details are missing. . .most specifically, a few sets of limbs that I don't remember ever seeing. So. . .just take this piece as my attempt to waste a few very slow hours at work the other day, and an inability to fall asleep last night. Not really accurate with the movie unless you count the fact that I was thinking about it when I drew it.
