This is a drawing of Olivier B. Bommel (bear) and Zwelgje (dragon) from the movie 'Als je begrijpt wat ik bedoel'(1983), which is a dutch animation film by Marten Toonder. This must have been the first dragon I ever saw. And it is by far the coolest dragon I have ever seen :).The movie has been released in English,  too and is named 'The dragon that wasn't (or was he?).The story is about this Lord Bommel, who gets a mysterious 'ball' from his friend. The ball was found in his garden, but soon enough it seems that the ball is an egg, and this dragon comes out, and Lord Bommel is the first person the dragon sees, and thus the dragon asumes that Lord Bommel is his father. It's not just any dragon, he Hates water, and is up to mischief.Whenever he's happy or angry he will grow, and not just a little bit, he becomes HUGE, and the only one who can control him is the bear, who doesnt have a clue about being a father.Anyways, wonderful adventure, I seen the movie so much when I was a kid. Owned it 7 times on video casette, which I all played so much till they turned colorless ;) Now I have it on DVD, so thats not gonna happen anymore hehe!
