Bedtime Dragon

"Will you read me a story?" Bedtime Tails for Baby Dragons. I began work on this little guy in, I believe, February or March, hoping to have him finished for a friend's birthday. This did not happen, and I finished the piece in , roughly, May. The IDEA was to make a green dragon with gold and copper trim who was really FIERCELY guarding a treasure chest. unfortunately, once I had finished the dragon himself, he staunchly refused to be fierce, and instead turned into this very cute little drakling. As with many of ly marger dragons, all of his scales were seperately made and applied. This one is about 8" long by 6" across. He's made of polymer clay over an aluminum foil armature, except for his eyes, which are tiny green rhinestones. The copper tinting is, believe it or not, made of a copper eye-shadow powder, which did a fantastic job of burnishing the dragon. He now resides with the friend he was originally made for, who doesn't mind cuteness at all.

The Kitten and the Dragon (Script)

Yes! I know! Doesn't that sound like a disgusting title? Well, it's a script for a children's puppet show, what do you want? I apologize, the quality may be a bit sub-par, but I had to edit out some of the gags, they were too sub-culture-specific. Also, this is a fairly old piece 4-6 years, and some of the jokes are (at least by adult standards) REALLY REALY BAD. A few notes: anything presented with an asterisk (*) and underlined is a variable part of the story, dependant on the location and time of the story. And I apologize for any confusion caused byt the narrators being labeled N1 and N2. While I was writing it, I was trying to keep it open for a mixed-cast show. (People AND puppets.) Anyhow, I'm sure there aren't too many scripts in the Library, so even if it's dreadful, at least it's different.
