I started this one in the middle of the year but postponed it because I got busy with honours. I've another water colour that needs finishing off as well. I think this one turned out well enough, especially the bird section. The beak shape is a little off, but I blame bad reference pictures for that. This is a Spinifex Griffon, a cross between the spinifex pigeon and a yellow footed rock-wallaby. Originally it was meant to be a black footed rock-wallaby but I lost the references. The yellow footed matches the spinifex pigeons colouration better anyway. Both these animals live in central Australia in the spinifex and rock country. Water colour, 10"x14"
