Part Nicobar Pigeon part Numbat. I think the two parts work really well together. I'm thinking of doing a few other gryphons to produce a 'Plate' (example of what I mean). I'd do gryphon's that have featured in my gallery at some point or other. Done in Deep Paint aprox 6 hours (was doining another picture at the same time). Good bit of advice to people thiniking about drawing birds: avoid iradecent feathers like the plague- they are excedingly dificult to draw convincingly. The feathers on the back of the gryphon are meant to be iradecent.
