While doodling in class I found out that I couldn’t draw humans very well. But I could draw dragons and dinosaurs with a fair amount of cartoonish proficiency. I kept drawing dinosaurs and changed them a little in body structure until they stood upright. But I always called them dinosaurs. Once I started developing my story I decided that my dino-humanoids had to become a part of the plot and creatures. Thus they needed a name: Dragarrds. They’re neither dragons nor lizards, but I liked the sound of the name and anything with double “r” in the name has to be cool, right? This is a Rex Dragarrd. Or a Dragarrd based upon the typical two-legged meat eating dinosaur. He’s smirking down at something…could it be an attended meal?
