This started out as a sketch on a divider I was sketching in my stage tech class back duing the first semester of my Senior year in high school. Then during lunch I finished the sketch and began inking it, and then the next day I spent hours coloring it. And now I did a lot of digital adjustments and made the "stars" prettier. This was a dragon concept that has been lingering in my head for a while, the idea of a dragon with wings that look like the night sky. Well, the night sky in the countryside that is, because city and suburb lights make you see less stars at night. As for the wings, they were inspired by Southeast Asian oriental dragon kites that have wings like that. Done with Copic felt tip pen, mechanical pencil, colored pencils, and white gel pen for the stars, which were enchanced digitally. I also put marker over the wings before painstakingly adding layer upon layer of black and blue colored pencil over so there would not be any white showing. But ehehe If she looks too skinny, it's because the wings attach a bit closer to her sides, look carefully at the bottom of them. eheheh.
