A picture I've been working on since the beginning of summer. Drew, inked, colored on PSP9. Lost a few fingers in the process.Short background story follows. As I pushed myself through the rough foliage all around, I came upon a rather odd feel underneath my paw pads. What was once ground opened up into pavement. Much to my surprise this appeared to once be part of a civilization. One retired, I mused to myself. After all, aside from a quite upset female dragork I previously stole the eggs from, this planet was not supposed to have any culture or intelligent beings of interest. I was soon to eat those words when something scuddled from the bushes. Nearly tripping over my own tail, I twisted towards the sounds. Thereafter my whiskers caught the full force of an orange ball. With a curse, I caught my face and any teeth that decided to escape. In response to this came a coarse laugh - which I first accidentally mistook for a tree falling as the chuckle's unethical tone and rough edges sounded quite alike. "The blazes?" I questioned haphazardly whilst rushing forwards towards my current foe. There it, or shall I assume 'he', stood. The ball he previously attacked me with swirling in one of his four hands. This creature's body looked anthropomorphian like mine own yet so alien. Much like an intelligent being crossbred with a confused and misbegotten wooden bug. Blue gems seemed to ebb from every corner of his bosy - each with their own living glow. A horn like the limb of a tree protruded from between his glaring white eyes and it seemed as if the light poked through the canopy ahead for the sole reason to gaze upon it. However before my observations got the best of me, the otherworldly being gestured with another one of his arms towards a hoop fashioned between mushrooms, vines, and metal. A voice unlike any I've heard fell from his lips, "You up for a game?"
