I've always wanted to design airplanes. How cool would it be to see something you made take wing and fly? To create something never seen before, and that can do things never done before? So I have a tendency to make up airplanes. This particular one is a canard aircraft with stealth characteristics. So far I'm naming it the Phoenix, but if anyone suggests a better name I'll take it. You can see the canards (little wings) in this picture, but not seen are the large wings that are swept forwards and back. Also unseen are the large pulse detonation engines (I can't wait until these become availible!). Just to make things clear, this airplane does not exist in reality. Some aspects are similar to the X-29 and F-22, but I've taken the successful parts of those airplanes to create a realistic future air superiority fighter. Made in Photoshop 6.0. Some people think that the ground is too close, but look again, that river is actually the size of the Mississippi so there is ample room to turn.
